Dovercourt Low Lighthouse Essex - Built in 1863 this is the Low Lighthouse in Dovercourt on the Essex Coastline. The lights behind are of a tanker comeing into the dock, so it was kinda doing its job. This and the High Lighthouse, which is on the shore, used to make for a safe passage into Harwich and Felixstow docks. They stopped being used in 1917 and were restored in 1988. The orangey glow to the left is light pollution from the nearby docks.
Abandoned, Leigh on Sea - A sunrise walk in Leigh in Sea greeted me with a mega sunrise. The light across the marshland highlighted this old fishing boat in a delightful way. I had to snap it.
