Agra, home to the Taj Mahal. Everything you read and see about this place is true. It is magnificent. Photographs do not do it justice and if you can go, you should. Make sure you get up super early and be one of the first in the door so that you can get the perfect reflection of the Taj Mahal in the fountain, before they are turned on and spoil the reflection.

The Taj From the River
Ok, so you know when you are left with a choice that could really make a difference in an image. I had left my camera at the hotel as had been up since super early and totally lost track of time. I had the opportunity to make a sunset boat ride or go back and get my camera to make sunset pictures. I took the boat ride and made this with my phone. I have no regrets as this is quite possibly one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen and I had to look instead of view through a viewfinder. Had I gone back, I would have missed it. The best camera is the one you have with you and fortunately my smartphone was there to make the capture.
